Day 88

Language forms a vital link between the world of our thoughts and imagination and the way we connect to the outside world. But have you noticed how easy it is to use negative language rather than positive expressions? We say ‘should’, ‘might’ and ‘maybe’ rather than ‘will’, ‘shall’ and ‘definitely’. Shifting our language into a more positive framework helps to focus our energy on precise outcomes and encourages our minds to overcome obstacles and concentrate on achieving our goals. Conditional expressions reveal an expectation of failure. Clear statements of intent reinforce our will to achieve whatever we set out to do. Become more aware of the words you use. Watch out for negative, weakening words that dilute your power to fulfill your goals. Choose positive, powerful expressions and feel the difference in your outlook. Let your daily use of language become a key to success, fulfillment and well-being.
