Fear is a very powerful force in our lives and yet most of our anxieties flow from our imagination. We are conditioned to imagine all the things that can go wrong but it can be very helpful to counter this imbalance by learning to imagine all the things that can go right. We devote far too much energy to our fears. We enhance the quality of our lives when we cultivate a more positive set of expectations. We begin to notice the more positive aspects of our lives and this lends itself to a more confident attitude towards our circumstances. Our creativity flourishes and we feel more at ease in the world. This is a more natural way of being and our wellbeing increases in proportion to our capacity to be calmly and powerfully positive.
